Sporting values: The Teen Edition
Project
S.V.I.T.E is an Erasmus+ Sport project designed to strengthen the understanding and practical application of positive sport values among teenagers. By combining sport-based learning, intercultural exchange, and creative expression, the project helps young people develop fair play, teamwork, respect, discipline, integrity, and perseverance. The project addresses the need for structured value-based education, low engagement of teenagers in meaningful activities, and the lack of innovative tools that connect theory with real-life behaviour.
Through local focus groups, partners collect insights from young people to better understand how sport values are perceived in their communities. These results shape the design of the 7-day international workshop, bringing together 20 teenagers (ages 10–16) to learn, collaborate, and improve their ability to identify and apply core values—aiming for at least 70% skill improvement.
A key project outcome is the co-created educational board/memory game, developed together with participants to serve as a practical tool for youth workers, teachers, coaches, and organizations working with sport and education. The project promotes inclusion, environmental awareness, healthy lifestyles, and the active participation of young people. It also strengthens partner organizations by enhancing their capacity to deliver innovative, value-based programs.
